They take half an era to turn, break easily, have poor firing arcs unless you are willing to expose that belt and poor penetration over distance but they also come with ridiculous low to mid range Russian accuracy. No matter how poor the oppositions dispersion, expect frequent penetrations and even citadels if the ship is poorly angled. Citadel has zero protection and the belt protecting is weak even for a battlecruiser. Its belt armor covers the entire ship from aft to stern. With that said, the armor profile for this ship is atrocious. The narrow citadel and abundance of turrets also make it difficult for AP bombers to score a hit against the citadel. Anyone willing to HE or rocket plane spam will find their shells shatter with the exception of heavy cruisers, battleships and HE bombers from US carriers. The 38mm deck coupled with very little superstructure and numerous turrets with very thick turret roof armor are a god send.
Whereas Gangut can see tier 5 ships at most October Revolution can regularly go up against tier 7 ships and against those it has next to no chance. They are identical if not for the formers upgraded anti-aircraft suite and that is exactly the problem. October Revolution is an uptiered Gangut.
